GASR uses a double-blind peer-review process for research articles submitted for publication. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other during the peer-review process.

All submitted manuscripts first undergo a preliminary editorial assessment to determine whether they meet the journal's basic requirements and fall within its scope. Manuscripts that proceed beyond the preliminary assessment are evaluated by at least two qualified independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

The reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, scholarly quality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and contribution to the field. The final editorial decision is made by the Editor or an authorized member of the editorial team after considering the reviewers' recommendations and the manuscript's overall quality.

Editorial staff may conduct preliminary checks before external peer review, including checks for scope, basic quality, plagiarism or similarity, and compliance with submission requirements. Such preliminary checks do not replace external peer review.
